Bahia de Kino

Our room with the reflection of the sea in the sliding door.

Yes, I believe I could get use to this!

A future fisherman.

The days catch.

Harvesting the days catch. These fishermen work hard. They are up before dawn preparing the boats and nets, and are out on the water at sunrise. This was about 3 in the afternoon.

Everyone gets involved.

Dinner! Fresh fish and veggies. De Colores!

The sunrises are as spectacular as the sunsets.

Our beach and Isla de Tibulon.

  1. WOW! What a great break. I'm so proud of you for taking some R&R. People may say, "hey! they're already on vacation :(" But we know that the cross-culture stress, language barrier, ministry, construction, etc. is in fact work. And it isn't a 9 to 5 job, but 24/7! That is why a good break is necessary.
We had a great weekend for Winter Games. The weather was perfect, lots of people, great food. Fun, fun, fun. (please be in prayer for a father from Milford who died when his snowmobile hit a tree)
I shared at Harbor today about my future plans. We prayed for you, Stephanie, and Richard in Haiti, and me. Also, Dr. Steve was there who often goes to Tanz, and a family were visiting whose daughter is ministering in Australia! That covers ever continent!! HOJ is a church on mission! Very, very exciting. Grateful to be your partner in the Gospel.H.
