We went out to the village yesterday to see our friends there and to check on the progress on the church. The metal (reja) security for the windows is being welding and will be installed soon.

Tuesday we went to see Gerardo, our neighbor, play baseball. He is the neatest 10 year old, and is working hard on his English...teaching us some Spanish, as well.

When we went to the village, we went to Ramon's. He was not home, but his hat was. We had some tools that we borrowed to return.

Ivana came over this morning to show us her marching uniform before she went to school. She is Gerardo's 5 year old sister. If we understood correctly, it is" Day of the Flag" today.

Jeff and Adella working hard at communication, using our translator. Adella pulled some radished from their garden for us. What a treat.

Today we are going to the airport to pick up our friend, Molliann from Dakota City, NE. She has come down here with Jeff several times over the years. Everyone here is excited about her return and have planned for a large number of people to be at the airport to greet her!
