We arrived in Guaymas safely last Thursday. The van and our little truck made it with no problems, except that it was quite cold traveling in the van with no heat. My driving skills were tested as I am not a city driver. Albuqurque, Tucson, Nogales, and Hermosillo caused a bit of nail chewing! PTL! we are here. We were greeted by our neighbors with huge hugs and a yummy cake with Welcome written on it. They are such a blessing to us. Communication is still a bit difficult, but we are working hard at it.
Today we are going to the church to unload the many suitcases and bags of clothing that we brought down, thanks to everyone's generous support. We have given some of the donations out already and they have been accepted most gratefully. We need to get the van out of the street in front of our house as the streets are quite narrow and we don't want it to get broken into. We will take it San Carlos where it can be placed in a fenced in and secure area until we can get the paperwork done for it.
It has been a busy few days here. Reuniting with our friends, Dream Center ministry on Saturday, services on Sunday, and many meals with friends. We got wifi in our house yesterday as the trip to McDonalds for wifi was not good. Our computor dumped and froze up, but thankfully Jeff was able to restore it with the long distance phone call to Judy. So much easier to computor onthe dining room table at home. Gotta go. Have a great day and God may bless you!
